Film
My experimentation with film is just that; an experiment that is a growing and living process in an age where film is slowly dying. I try to mix up as many elements as I can, with different types of cameras ranging from sophisticated TLRs to plastic toy cameras and all the film I can get my hands on, which is often expired. Due to the sometimes accidental nature of the medium, an element of control is lost allowing the film to take on a life of its own where the role of the photographer is the middleman for that transformation. Being a bit of a control freak, it was counterintuitive to shoot a roll not knowing how it would turn out, but letting go, shooting outside the frame, embracing the abnormalities and accidents left me with an eclectic collection of images that remind me that sometimes, you just need to shoot and hope it'll work out.
